Abstract
In modern day implant dentistry one can almost take achieving osseointegration for granted. Improved implant designs, surfaces, instrumentation etc have ensured that osseointegration is a near certainty if the objective parameters of primary stability are achieved in a healthy bone bed. The protection & maintenance of this osseointegration, however , is a function of the soft tissue seal at the neck of the implant, what we once knew as the Biologic width, and now as the Supra Crestal Complex. This presentation will discuss in some detail the establishment of this supracrestal complex, the influence of abutment connection and restoration on this delicate ecosystem, and finally provide guidelines on the minimum requirements of soft tissue in terms of width and thickness and quality of said tissue for maintaining a healthy periimplant environment, as well as algorithmic recommendations on timing and techniques for improving the same.

At all times there have been and are mega trends, meaning changes that are more than a fad. Two of these mega trends within and outside of dentistry are “digitization” and “sustainable health”.
Both mega trends have had a high priority in our clinic for around 15 years, especially in their combination. In the last few years these trends have become increasingly dynamic. Ceramic implants are a central component of sustainable health-oriented dentistry, which we call biological dentistry.
It is currently a unique selling point for every clinic that implements the integrated workflow of digital concepts and biological dentistry. It gives the clinic access to a socially and economically interesting customer group. Today it is still possible to be at the forefront of this movement and thus actively create the future. In the future, the lack of such a concept will be an exclusion criterion for certain market accesses.

The Dental Clinic Constance is an integrative clinic for biological dentistry with an associated department of environmental medicine under the direction of Dr. med. Joachim Mutter (www.envimed.de). At the Clinic Constance, a protocol has been developed that frees people in teeth and jaws in the shortest possible time and certainly from exposure to metals and inflammation. Likewise, several metal free ceramic implant systems were developed and tested here.
Dr. Scholz is a speaker and author on topics from the fields of metal-free dentistry and integrative treatment concepts. He is very successful as Peak Performance Coach (certified NLP-Master and Coach) and deals intensively with sustainable successful life concepts, here esp. with the contexts of nutrition, sport, inner attitude and success.

Presentation abstract
The evolution of digital technology in dentistry provides us with great benefits in the field of implantology both in the surgical and the prosthetic part of the treatment plan. Implant supported restoration of an edentulous jaw has been a great challenge for the clinicians involved.
However the use of guided surgery in combination with intraoral scanning, and all CAD/CAM laboratory procedures involved, diminishes patient discomfort, maximises the accuracy of surgical procedure and facilitates the fabrication of ideal prosthesis.
The aim of this presentation is to describe all the clinical and laboratory steps followed in the digital restorative pathway, through a number of case reports of edentulous jaws, rehabilitated with dental implants. All acquired equipment is presented along with the possible combinations of materials according to the essentials of each case. Special tips about digitally registering the central relation in the desired vertical dimension are also discussed.
From initially communicating the suggested treatment plan, through its presentation via digital means to the final screwing of the cross arch fixed implant rehabilitation, a lot of controversial aspects are yet to be clarified, so as to easily deliver a predictable outcome.

Presentation abstract
The achievement of ideal implant positioning has become a field of big efforts in terms of dental implantology. The development of innovative technologies targets a reliable workflow, securing a close to ideal implant placement. Nevertheless, this is not always possible, despite the use of these technologies. Compromised anatomy as well as clinician’s misestimation are factors that cannot be excluded from surgical procedures. To date, the clinicians have the opportunity and privilege to deploy digital tools, new materials and components, in order to prosthetically compensate a non-ideal implant axis, in a manner, that biology, aesthetics and function won’t be negatively affected.
